<p>In Artificial Intelligence, a neural network is a model inspired by the human brain capable to quickly and accurately recognize objects. Hence <a href="https://www.spark-security.com/en/nitida-ip-camera-series/">Nitida cameras</a> can detect <strong>people and vehicles</strong> (classifying cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks and buses) and <strong>track their movement</strong> to provide the most important <strong>perimeter protection</strong> features: intrusion, loitering and tripwire.</p>
<p>These features are managed through a dedicated <strong>web page UI</strong>. For example, it is possible to <strong>draw</strong> a perimeter on the screen ad receive an <strong>alarm</strong> when a person or a vehicle enters.</p>

<p><strong>AI</strong> is becoming very important to solve real problems and to avoid false alarms. Performing video-analytics applications directly on Nitida 2.0, Nitida 5K and Nitida 4K, there is no need to connect the camera to an external server for data processing as usually happens in video surveillance systems. A lighter infrastructure also means<strong> improved scalability and lower costs</strong>.</p>
<p>Using Nitida&#8217;s very high resolution of <strong>9, 16 and 20 megapixels</strong>, it will be possible to cover a very large area using a single camera and potentially select where to perform video-analytics applications.</p>

<p>You can set up the <strong>image capturing frequency</strong> from 1 per minute to 1 per day, also using a weekly schedule. For example, it is possible to capture one frame every 5 minutes, from Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 7 pm. All these images can be saved in a folder for the final export.</p>

<p>Micro Four Thirds system (often shortened in <strong>MFT</strong> , <strong>M4:3</strong> or <strong>M4/3</strong>) makes it possible to <strong>exchange lenses</strong> according to context and needs, taking more control over the field of view.</p>
<p>In the past few years, the security world has been using this new technology to take advantage of higher sensor resolution while maintaining wide-angle capacity and avoiding the vignetting effect.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s possible to choose between <strong>motorized, manual and fixed lenses</strong>, with optical image stabilizer in some cases. For example, from the same distance but with different M4/3 lenses, you can monitor the car traffic on a roadway using 150 pixels per meter or exploit a density of 330 px/m to read the license plates of the cars in the entry lane. In the same way, it&#8217;s possible to see what happens in a 50-meters wide square or decide to deeply watch a 4-meters area of interest.</p>

<p>There are different manufacturers of Micro Four Third lenses such as Olympus and Panasonic. All MFT lenses are extremely handy and robust and are relatively cheap thanks to the open standard. They are interchangeable between different brands because adopting the same mount system.</p>
